What you get

Original Blend is the default. Dark Roast and decaf are available at no extra charge. Flavored coffee (French vanilla, hazelnut) is available at some stores, usually for the same price.

At around $18, a Box O’ Joe works out to $1.80 per small cup versus $2.29 buying them one at a time. For groups of eight or more it is always cheaper.

How to order

1. Order ahead in the app under “Bakery & More” or “Box O’ Joe.” Pick up time matters because it is brewed when you order.
2. Call the store for same-day orders of more than two boxes. Most stores can do it in 15 minutes but big orders need warning.
3. Drive-thru works for one box. Ask at the speaker and they will hand it through the window.

For a morning meeting, order for 15 minutes before you need it. Coffee is hottest in the first hour.

Box O’ Joe vs Starbucks Coffee Traveler

The Starbucks Coffee Traveler is also 96 oz and serves 12 eight-ounce cups. It costs about $25 to $30. The Dunkin box is the same size at $18 to $22 and includes cups. Both need to be ordered ahead for reliability. If your group prefers a darker roast, Starbucks. If you want to spend less, Dunkin.

Pair it with food
