Where cross-contact happens

  • Donut case: all donuts share tongs, trays and airspace with nut donuts.
  • Toaster: bagels, croissants, English muffins and sourdough go through the same conveyor toaster.
  • Flat top: eggs, sausage, bacon and turkey sausage share one grill.
  • Blenders: frozen drinks share blenders, rinsed between uses but not sanitized for allergens.
  • Milk steaming wand: shared between dairy and non-dairy milks unless you ask for a rinse.

How to order with an allergy

Tell the cashier the allergy. Staff can pull a fresh tray of donuts from the back, use fresh gloves, and rinse the steam wand. They cannot guarantee anything, and Dunkin’s official position is that no item is safe for severe allergies. The official chart at dunkindonuts.com has ingredient-level detail for every item.
